Biography
Aleksandra Jadczuk is an Polish artist from Gdańsk, known for her work in painting, drawing, photography, and graphics. She graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Gdańsk in 2001, with a degree from the Faculty of Painting. She completed her diploma under the guidance of Professor Maciej Świeszewski, and also did an additional specialization in Wall Painting with Professor Andrzej Dyakowski. In 2012, she earned her PhD in Fine Arts.
Jadczuk’s work focuses on creating complex, layered visual spaces by juxtaposing individual images. Her artistic process involves investigating the relationships between these elements, with each piece functioning both as an independent whole and as a part of a larger composition. She is particularly interested in evoking associations with nature through her artwork. Besides her academic role, she has exhibited widely, participating in over 50 solo exhibitions and numerous group shows across Poland and internationally.
